Dual Massage
A dual or couple’s massage is a great way to introduce the therapeutic benefits of massage to new and younger clients as well as a unique way to enjoy a side-by-side massage and to spend some quality time with a significant other, friend or family member. It is also a great opportunity for parents to bond with their younger children in a relaxed and soothing environment.
A dual or couple’s massage is offered in the same room with massage tables beside each other and two therapists delivering a customized massage to each client at the same time. The clients can receive any type of massage option we offer at the clinic. Prior to the start of the treatment, each client will receive an initial consultation with their therapist to discuss session goals, explain the treatment process and answer any questions. Once the therapists have left the room, each client can undress to their own comfort level and get on the massage table. Please ensure that you both are comfortable getting undressed in the same room. We respect children’s right to decide what they will wear during the massage, so please bring a pair of shorts and tank top as an alternative for them.
Both massage treatments will start and end at the same pre-appointed time. Talking between clients is permitted during the treatment session, however this should be agreed upon prior to the start of the treatment. Communication from the therapists will be kept to a minimum to allow the clients to enjoy time spent together.
It is recommended that the appointment length be booked based on the person with the least experience with massage. Children typically do well with a 30-minute session. To book a dual or couples massage, call 613-635-7026.
