As a dietitian, I meet with clients with various conditions, disease, and lifestyle patterns. Every client has a story. They have their own personal goals, challenges, and strengths. I work with them to develop a plan that supports their nutritional needs and fits within their lifestyle to create long lasting results.
My focus is in weight loss/weight gain, nutrition for children, and metabolism. Although these are my main areas of focus, I also love to work with clients looking for advice or support with sports nutrition, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, celiac disease, food allergies and intolerances.
I build my practice on the belief that small lifestyle changes can make a huge impact on your overall health and wellbeing.
Food is such an important part of our everyday lives and I've found my passion in helping my clients develop a positive and healthy relationship with food.
I've worked with various clients who've come to me wanting to improve their health by losing weight but don't know how to do it.
It was my first client that had the biggest impact on my practice: a gentleman in his 60’s who was bound to his wheelchair, felt uncomfortable and embarrassed about his food choices and his weight. He felt he had lost control of his health. I worked with him on a weekly basis as I wanted to see him reach his goals as much as he did. In the end, he felt as though he achieved more than what he had expected.
Helping individuals regain control of their health when they feel they have lost it and giving them the knowledge and empowerment they need to be in control, is the most satisfying part of my career.
